CONTEXT
STATE Design was approached to create 2D animations for Muscles and Mayhem, a Netflix documentary series on American Gladiators in the 90’s. These animations would play over the Gladiators’ anecdotes that have no footage as archival recreations.
I was tasked with creating some of the character designs based on the real people involved in the show, as well as creating various assets for props and backgrounds.
