As a non-Angeleno, Pershing Square’s drab downtown presence sparked a lot of questions. This zine is the culmination of my investigation on the “why“ of it all. It examines the park’s history of exclusion, including its role in L.A.’s queer history,  viewed through the park’s numerous renovations.
